This 7 inch AHD reversing camera kit is designed to improve vehicle safety and visibility when reversing and manoeuvring. The HD monitor delivers a clear, easy-to-view display, allowing drivers to monitor multiple areas around the vehicle with confidence.
The system includes two high-definition 1080P waterproof cameras, each available with a choice of viewing angles including 100 degree, 60 degree, 45 degree, or 30 degree. Wider angles provide greater coverage behind the vehicle, while narrower angles allow for more accurate distance judgement when reversing or towing.
Each camera can be viewed individually on the monitor, making it ideal for monitoring rear and additional areas such as trailers, blind spots, or side views. The monitor is designed for clear visibility, including in bright sunlight conditions.
The wired connection ensures a stable, interference-free signal for consistent performance. Cable length options are available to suit different vehicle sizes and installation requirements.

Secure Waterproof Cable Connections
The connections on the reversing / rear-view camera cables push in and then screw up creating a secure connection. They come with rubber O-rings creating a waterproof join. The extension cable is airline aviation cable and has a 4-pin female end and a 4-pin male end. NAS cameras come with a 4-pin female ended connection and require the 4 pin male ended extension cable. NAS monitors have the 4-pin male ended connection and require the female ended extension cable.

Trigger Wires
The trigger cables, typically Yellow, Brown, Blue, and White, do not need to be connected. They only require connection if you desire automatic camera activation, such as when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. However, if you connect the trigger wires, continuous camera viewing while driving won't be possible. If you choose not to connect the trigger cables, ensure to wrap each one individually in insulation tape.

Camera viewing angle plays an important role in how your reversing camera performs when towing. A narrow 30° camera is ideal for driving and distance viewing, giving you a clear, rear-vision style image so you can accurately judge how far vehicles are behind your caravan while travelling.
Mid-range angles such as 45° and 60° provide a balanced view, making them suitable for both reversing and general towing. They offer more coverage than a narrow lens while still allowing you to maintain a good sense of distance.
A wider 100° camera is best suited for reversing and manoeuvring, as it captures a broader area behind the caravan. This helps reduce blind spots and makes it easier to see obstacles when parking or navigating tight spaces.
